All door handles on the Wolseley 14/60 were of a new and improved design. The curved handle eliminates any risk of tearing clothing. The four doors are provided with locks and weather seals.
It is equipped with Jackall Hydraulic jacks to all 4 wheels. A lever is inserted through a trap in the floor-boards and engaged with a quick action pump. A few strokes with serve to lift two wheels or all four from the ground.
A vernier adjustment is provided on the ignition distributor head. Finger tip regulation allows the right setting of the ignition under varied conditions. Over and above a determined setting the advance and retard mechanism is fully automatic.
The five-stud hub is protected by a smart cap with improved self-locking centre screw fixing; a screw driver tip is provided on one end of the wheel brace.
The sliding roof provides a wide aperture. The flush fitting construction in weather tight and clean in construction.
The windscreen is opened and closed by means of a single handle located in the centre. The screen remains firmly fixed in any position over the wide range of opening.
The steering wheel is adjustable for length over a wide range and adjustment is also provided for the rake of angle of the column.
The O.H.V. engine is very accessible thus reducing maintenance costs. Tappet adjustment is very easily effected without any inconvenience.
